Yes, block bookings (10 and 30 hour packages) are paid upfront and offer a discounted hourly rate compared to booking single lessons.
Your lesson time is spent entirely on the road or in the vehicle with your instructor — pick-up and drop-off at an agreed local location is included.
If you want the flexibility to drive any car in future, manual is the better choice. If you'd rather skip clutch control and focus purely on roadcraft, automatic is a great option. Get in touch if you're not sure — we're happy to advise.
